The hot water boiler is equipped with our TWS (Tap Water Stratification) technology, which means that hot water is produced faster and at a higher temperature than with traditional technology. As the hot water is diluted to tap water temperature, the volume of hot water used is much higher due to the higher temperature.
Thanks to its inverter and TWS technology, Calibra Eco is the fastest and most cost-effective hot water producer in its sector – 260 litres of domestic hot water at 40°C.
Thermia Calibra Eco is a ground source heat pump with inverter technology that offers a higher level of performance thanks to its unique technical solutions. With an impressive seasonal coefficient of performance (SCOP*) of 5.96 (underfloor heating at 35°C in compliance with EN14825), Calibra Eco allows you to reduce energy consumption by up to 80%.
*SCOP is an indicator that describes the year-round performance of a heat pump, i.e. in both warm and cold seasons. It shows the ratio between the amount of energy produced and the amount of energy consumed. The higher the coefficient, the better the system.
Thermia Calibra Eco is the first ground source heat pump on the market with the more climate friendly refrigerant R452B and the lowest GWP* value of 698. In addition, thanks to its unique design, it requires less refrigerant than other heat pumps, resulting in a very lowCO2 equivalent.
Refrigerant R452B is innovative in every sense. It is an excellent heat transfer medium, providing even greater energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
