The unit monitors and protects itself against freezing, overloading, overheating and gas leaks.
This is a completely new compressor technology, which is still not widely available, as the unit uses the environmentally friendly refrigerant R290 (C3H8).
The advantage of R290 gas over existing refrigerants used in air conditioning is its low ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential).
