Picket
After installing the pellet burner, always check that the end of the ignition coil on the combustion chamber side is flush with the rear wall of the combustion chamber and does not protrude from or get caught behind the rear wall of the combustion chamber.
The fuse must not come into contact with pellets or flame. Otherwise the fuse will burn out quickly.
Replacing the fuse
To change the spark plug, a small (2.5 … 3.5mm) flat head screwdriver is needed to connect the wires and a cross-head screwdriver to replace the spark plug.
- Make sure the pellet burner has cooled down and is disconnected from the mains.
- Remove the red cover of the pellet burner by unscrewing the 4 screws, 2 on each side.
- Disconnect the ignition coil wires from the screw terminal X1.
- Loosen the screw holding the fuse plug to the body.
- Open the boiler door to access the combustion chamber.
- Push the spark plug into the combustion chamber and remove the spark plug through the combustion chamber.
- Twist the wires of the new ignition coil together and insert them through the combustion chamber into the ignition coil opening.
- Push the spark plug into the receptacle so that the tip of the plug is flush with the rear wall of the combustion chamber. Caution! If the spark plug is out of its hole, it will come into contact with the pellets and the combustion flame. In this case, the fuse will burn out quickly.
- Tighten the screw again and check that the other end of the firing pin does not touch the rear wall of the combustion chamber.
- Reconnect the wires to terminals 1 and 2 of screw terminal X1. The order of the wires is not important. The screw clamp must be tightened firmly so that the wires do not come out of the screw when pulled.
