Subsidy for the renovation of heating systems in small dwellings

The main objective of the support is to improve air quality in densely populated areas. In addition, upgrading heating systems contributes to energy savings and fire safety.

The first call for applications will open on 15.02.2024a. Applications can be submitted until 21.02.2024a.

Applications can be submitted by natural persons and the maximum grant amount is €10 000 per dwelling. Depending on the region, the subsidy rate is either 50 or 70 percent.
👉 The 70% rate is foreseen in Jõhvi, Kiviõli and Sillamäe in Ida-Viru County, Jõgeva and Põltsama in Jõgeva County, Valga, Otepää and Tõrva in Valga County.
👉 The 50% rate is applied in Pirita, Nõmmel, Kesklinna, Kristiina, Haaberst and Põhja-Tallinn in Tallinn, and in Tartu, Viljandi, Rakvere, Kuressaare, Keila, Võru, Turku, Saue, Paide, Tapa, Kärdla, Elva, Haapsalu, Karksi-Nuia, Kilingi-Nõmmel and Pärnu.

If you want to apply for a grant for the installation of an air-to-water heat pump, ground source heat pump, wood or pellet boiler , you should wait until the next call for applications opens in the second half of the year.
